Project Engineer (all genders) - Powertrain & HV Systems- in our E/E Engineering Team

We are looking for a full-time Functional Safety Engineer (all genders) to join our young team in the field of E/E engineering as soon as possible.

Role:

• Support in the development and implementation of safety concepts and systems according to ISO 26262
• Analyzing and evaluating safety requirements for various vehicle systems and components
• Creation and maintenance of safety-relevant documentation, including safety certificates and reports
• Performing risk analysis, FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and FTA (Fault Tree Analysis) to identify and evaluate potential safety risks.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure safety requirements are met at all stages of development.
• Supporting the implementation of safety assessments and audits.
• Training and advising employees on functional safety and safety standards.

Your profil:

• You have a degree in electrical engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable field of study.
• You have at least 3 to 5 years of work experience in functional safety (preferably in the automotive industry).
• Sound knowledge of ISO 26262 and other relevant safety standards.
• Experience in performing risk analysis, FMEA and FTA.
• You have a very good understanding of technically complex interrelationships and ideally basic knowledge of vehicle development.
• You are a communicative team player who likes to take on responsibility and work in a solution-oriented and structured manner.
